Eban Brown
Eban’s dad was a musician and he started learning from up at the age of 4 or 5. Eban saw his dad as being really cool! He began as a bass player, later became a guitarist and was randomly thrown into vocals! He then grew up as a church musician. Eban’s first big break was wtih Ray Goodman and Brown. He began as their guitarist, but before he’d even done a show, they put him on vocals.
Eban knew from an early stage that music was his destiny, but recognised that he had to persist. His friends, The Spinners, worked for 17 years before they had their first break.
Eban describes Django Reinhardt as the master guitarist of all of us! Eban has, and still does, admire and learned from others.
Eban believes that he’s developed a toolkit for his learning over the years, that he has a bag of tools that he’s developed. He describes his unique style as “The Eban Brown Machine”.
