This course is absolutely fantastic. I would class myself as an intermediate drummer and really found some of the fundamental tips and exercises useful. I've also learnt some new great grooves and exercises to really improve my drumming. It's a really useful format of short punchy 2-5 minute videos, so it's easy to come back to time and time again. 10/10, looking forward to seeing the next course!

I'd started learning the drums on a practice pad back in March this year and was loving it but was completely clueless about reading music and it scared the hell out of me and I was concerned it’d take the enjoyment away but Magesh is a fab teacher, he makes it easy by gradually teaching you in a really straightforward way and making it fun rather than a chore and within a surprisingly few lessons you’ll be amazed at how you can follow along by reading the music rather than just following Youtube hand movements and sticking patterns.

My 13 yr old son has been taking lessons with Magesh twice a week for over a month now. Thanks to Magesh he is making great progress - with drumming it's easy to tell! Magesh is an excellent teacher - he introduces new concepts at an appropriate pace, and sends us videos with techniques, rhythms and concepts that my son can work on by himself.

Magesh is brilliant, he has taken my 8 year old son from a complete beginner to a confident drummer who can hold a beat really well. I am shocked each week by the new beats that my son is able to do. Magesh sets no limits for what my son can achieve and this shines through in how well he has progressed in such little time.

I’m thoroughly enjoying our zoom lessons and it’s amazing to have help from such an accomplished and highly gifted drummer and all round musician who clearly has a huge passion for his craft and also a great sense of humour. My only complaint is how fast our lessons go but I always look forward to my next one. Drumming is just so much fun, pure escapism and has an amazing meditative quality - once you’re in the zone it’s hard to put those sticks down and Magesh is extremely positive and encouraging all the way, even when you totally lose the plot and can’t grasp a certain bar during your lesson but the practice video he sends you afterwards helps undo the temp mental block and by next lesson you’ll have nailed it and wonder why it felt so tricky. Highly recommend Magesh whatever level you are at - you’ll learn so much and more importantly enjoy yourself and have your confidence boosted by his encouragement, passion and positivity.
