Online Music Classes

Singing For the Disney Singer 11:00-12:00 Monday-Thursday,

British Summer Time (BST) 4:00-5:00 pm

Have fun with your favourite traditional and modern Disney songs while also further developing your voice.  There will be fun interactive games that further develop your breathing and exercises that teach you how to sing using all of your lungs.  We will also explore tone, tongue-twisters and other fun tasks that will improve your singing quality while simultaneously leaving a big grin on your face!  A short summary tutorial video will be available to keep for the future.

Vocal Coaching For the Pop Vocalist 4:30-5:30 Monday-Thursday

British Summer Time (BST) 9:30-10:30 pm

We will use traditional and modern songs both for sheer fun and as a route to further developing your vocal technique.  We will explore how to breathe correctly, how to enhance your tone, how to navigate those areas in your voice where your tone might flip, improving your resonance and some simple improvisation, riffs, runs and embellishments.  A short summary tutorial video will be available to keep for the future.

Elementary Theory through games 10:00-11:00 Monday-Thursday

British Summer Time (BST) 3:00-4:00 pm

This course is for those who want to improve their reading of rhythms, pitch and singing games.  It will have you reading simple music quickly and easily with no headaches whatsoever!  A short summary tutorial video will be available to keep for the future.

Piano for the Beginner 12:00-1:00 Monday-Thursday

British Summer Time (BST) 5:00-6:00 pm

This is unlike any other piano course!  You will be improvising away from the first lesson, exploring the black notes and playing simple songs straight away.  You will need a keyboard or piano in front of you and a tablet on your music stand so that you can watch my hands while you play.  A short summary tutorial video will be available to keep for the future.

Piano for the Pop/Rock pianist, Piano with no dots 3:30-4:30 Monday-Thursday

British Summer Time (BST) 8:30-9:30 pm

This is a fun course for anyone who wants to play pop songs on the piano which will include some great songs!  There will be no significant need to read traditional notes at all.  Some people who enjoy these courses already play classical piano and are looking for some more light-hearted fun.  For others, they don’t want to read the ‘dots’ and simply want to sit down and play.  You will learn some simple pop songs, play chords and chord progressions and learn to improvise and put your own twist as we go.  Essentially, you will work towards, one day, creating your own piano covers of famous songs.  A short summary tutorial video will be available to keep for the future.

Robin has 30 years teaching experience using very unique teaching techniques. He has taught at Conservatoires and has been Director of Music and Manager of Performing Arts at leading schools in the UK and Cairo. He reached No. 33 globally in Reverbnation Jazz Charts and trained Classically at a Conservatoire himself. He is extremely highly qualified and yet is approachable as your neighboured online tutor!
